The job is for a mid level Data Center Technician and Technical Support Position.
The candidate would perform customer technical support requests, network and computer system maintenance, system administration tasks to Windows and Linux systems, work on and resolve complex problems, remote hands support, and some project work. The position participates in an on-call rotation.
This is a good opportunity for someone to work in a growing data center environment and use their skills in Linux and Windows system administration, and, network administration including routing, firewalls, and switching. This job is customer facing and requires a high level of customer interaction.

The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor of science degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience (4 years experience in Information Technology in lieu of degree). The candidate should have 2 years experience in customer service or technical support. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Internet services, web hosting and general working knowledge of the Internet is needed. Any networking, Linux, or Windows certifications or a year or 2 experience would be a plus.
