This connection ensures that you can upload and download your data quickly, as opposed to going over the Internet which can come with performance and reliability issues. NetSource Off-Site Backup Cloud Storage is the perfect solution for archiving or backup up your important data.
How It Works – It’s Easy to Add to Any Hosting Solution
NetSource clients hosting at the Naperville data center can add Off-Site Backup Cloud Storage to their plans via a monthly cost. This service is available for add-on whether you have colocation, dedicated leased servers, or even cloud service. You can continue to use your own proprietary backup solutions because the file space will be mapped directly into your hosting environment at NetSource and will simply show up as a new drive. Backing up to the new mapped drive will guarantee data is stored in a second geographically diverse location 40 miles from the primary data center. All data is uploaded or downloaded at a minimum of 100 mbps so that working with large data files is simple.
What Is Off-Site Backup Cloud Storage Best Used For?
This service was created specifically for short term archiving or data backups. This service is also great for storing data such as images, video and other types of data you want easy online access to. This service is not best used as your only copy, such as for long term archiving.
What Does it Cost?
A quote will be provided to you for this service depending on the amount of off-site cloud space required. We offer packages as small as 50 GB all the way to 10 TB +.
