The expansion to NetSource’s Naperville, IL datacenter has been completed. The datacenter is ready to start hosting new customers in the Chicago area who need enterprise hosting services. NetSource provides a large mix of hosting services including colocation hosting, dedicated hosting, managed hosting, and cloud hosting. NetSource’s focus has been on providing business class hosting for companies who rely on hosting as an important part of their growth. See some pictures of our new center below.
The new datacenter expansion is covered under NetSource’s annual SSAE16 Type II compliance and includes room for an additional 3,500 rack mountable servers. NetSource will offer colocation space by the U, 1/3, 1/2, and full racks to new colocation customers. The new datacenter space will include all the N+1 redundancies that the existing datacenter space has at NetSource including multiple generators providing more than 1.5 Kilowatts of backup power combined.
NetSource’s datacenter expansion comes at just the right time. NetSource has already filled about 95% of the current datacenter #1 space located in the same building and is looking forward to moving customers into the new datacenter space. As the Chicago colocation market continues to grow NetSource is pleased that we can provide businesses in the Western Suburbs and Chicago area another good choice for hosting mission critical applications and services. NetSource offers a location more convenient than downtown Chicago for businesses located outside of the downtown area.
