NetSource, Chicago, IL launches new cloud based hosting services based out of our SSAE16 Type II datacenter. Our cloud hosting services start at $49 month and allow customers to scale their hosting platform in real-time as their performance needs grow.
NetSource has created a cloud hosting offering that will be added to our existing hosting services including colocation hosting, dedicated hosting, managed hosting, and shared hosting. As businesses look for more affordable hosting solutions without compromising reliability, cloud hosting has become a major force in the industry. NetSource is positioning our cloud offering between shared hosting and dedicated hosting, but the service is really for customers that want to manage their own server and pick their own OS. NetSource provides clients full RDP access to the servers so they are very similar to managing a dedicated server with some nice reliability features built in.
NetSource uses Citrix XenServer to create our cloud servers. All cloud based servers have auto fail-over enabled which means if the physical hardware your cloud server is on dies, your cloud server is automatically moved to a new physical server with almost no downtime. NetSource accomplishes this by storing all the data for each cloud server on a high availability storage area network (SAN). NetSource even provides security for your cloud server by providing a Juniper SRX platform on top of the cloud to minimize the risk from outside forces. All these features are included in a package starting at $49 month.
All cloud servers are hosted in our Chicago area datacenter located in Naperville, IL.
